Fort William World Championships 2007

Volunteer applications for June 08 are now closed. Volunteer applications for World Cup 2009 are not yet open, please come back later.

Volunteer requirements:

  • You must be at least 16 years old (sorry we can't recruit anybody under the age of 16, no exceptions)
  • You should be hardworking, enthusiastic and prepared to take on all roles as directed by team leaders
  • You must be prepared to work long hours whatever the weather conditions
  • You don't need experience but if you have specific skills or have volunteered at the World Cup/Champs before please tell us!
  • You must volunteer for a minimum of 2 days (including Saturday and Sunday)

In return you will receive:

  • Volunteer 'goody bag' including several items of branded clothing - your uniform
  • Packed lunches/food vouchers
  • Daily expenses allowance OR accommodation
  • Our eternal gratitude!
Volunteer Application Form
First you must decide if you wish to receive a daily allowance towards your expenses (Independent Volunteer) OR if you want us to supply you with with accommodation (Supported Volunteer).

Please select one of the following:
Independent
You will receive a payment of £30 per day worked. You will not receive any travel expenses.
Supported
You will be provided with bed and breakfast in a shared room in Fort William (hostel type accommodation), evening meal vouchers, daily transport and £40 per person travel expenses. You will not receive payment of £30 per day.
NB: All daily payments and travel expenses will by payable by cheque on Sun 7 June, or by post immediately following the event. Applications from
volunteers will be considered in April. Everyone who applies to help, both successful and unsuccessful will be contacted in late April.
